Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stopped by “The Colbert Report” Tuesday (Aug. 5), interrupting a segment host Stephen Colbert was doing about the serious case of “name-dropping” that goes on in her memoir, “Hard Choices.”

No one actually believes this is a surprise visit on Clinton’s part, but it’s still funny nonetheless. The two engage in a name-dropper-off and one of Colbert’s is, “I once shared an office with Steve Carell.” Forget Bono or various heads of state from all over the world — that’s definitely the winner.

It’s a funny segment, but still no word about the 2016 presidential race. Wouldn’t it have been hilarious to announce she was running on “The Colbert Report”?
