Amy Schumer had a good Monday. Comedy Central announced that it would be bringing back her sketch comedy series, “Inside Amy Schumer,” for a Season 3 in 2015.
Additionally, her positive influence on the network can be seen in the two new series it announced: “Another Period” and “Idiotsitter.” “Another Period” will star “Chelsea Lately’s” Natasha Leggero and Garfunkel & Oates’ Riki Lindhome as two rich girls who have way too much time in the year 1902.
Based on the Comedy Central web series of the same name, “Idiotsitter” stars “Workaholics'” Jillian Bell as a “woman-child” under house arrest in her father’s mansion, and Charlotte Newhouse as the woman hired to care for her.
Meanwhile, Comedy Central renewed Andy Daly’s “Review” for Season 2 and the animated series “TripTank” for Season 2, both coming in 2015.
