betty white inside the actors studio 320 'Inside the Actor's Studio' host James Lipton tries to make Betty White cry

We were TV fanatics before we were TV reporters and many of us still fondly remember cracking up watching “The Golden Girls'” antics. Then, of course, breaking down when we watched the finale in which Bea Arthur’s Dorothy couldn’t say goodbye to the women who had been her life for seven seasons.
The last remaining “Golden Girl,” Betty White, has had quite the resurgence in the past year including appearances on “Saturday Night Live,” the premiere of NBC’s “Community” and a starring role in her own show, “Hot in Cleveland,” and the film, “You Again.”
On Tuesday, White takes the stage on Bravo’s “Inside the Actor’s Studio” and marvels at how “The Golden Girls” was able to pump out 180 episodes about “four old broads.” She also talks about how her agent forced her to appear on “SNL” and how she had no clue about the Facebook campaign that helped place her there in the first place.
In the clip below, host James Lipton, launches his trademark “crying moment” attack on White, but she holds her own. We weren’t so tough.

“Inside the Actor’s Studio” with Betty White airs on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
