jamie oliver abc 'Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution' moving to Friday: Do you still watch?

The Emmy-winning “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution” continues its mission to change unhealthy eating habits in the U.S. for Season 2 — but modest ratings have prompted ABC to pull it from its schedule until June, when it will reemerge on Fridays.

Despite its cosy spot before the “Dancing With the Stars” results show, “Revolution” only managed to pull a 1.1 rating in the all-important 18-49 demo during its last original broadcast, April 19.

The episode only averaged 4.7 million viewers over the course of the hour — while a super-sized “Dancing With the Stars” results show, mostly consisting of clips from the season, averaged 12.85 million viewers in the same spot the following Tuesday.

“Revolution” is currently scheduled to start airing new episodes June 3 at 9:00 p.m. ET, until the six-episode season concludes June 24. And for the viewers who likely missed the first two outings, ABC plans to re-air them, back-to-back, Friday, May 27, starting at 8:00 p.m. ET.

It’s a discouraging blow for a show that’s been critically well-received — but we’re glad to see it’s staying on the air. Are you still watching?
