If you thought the first teaser to “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” was something special, you’re going to love this. Lionsgate has just released the next Capitol propaganda film featuring President Snow, but this time with an uninvited guest.
As Snow (Donald Sutherland) addresses Panem, flanked by Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), a very blonde Johanna (Jena Malone) and an army of peacekeepers, he is interrupted by a pirated broadcast from District 13 and a very familiar voice. “The Mockingjay lives,” Beetee (Jeffrey Wright) says in his short message.
The two parts of “Mockingjay” will focus on the rebels rising up against the Capitol to overthrow Snow and the Hunger Games, with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) leading the charge as the Mockingjay.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” also stars Woody Harrelson, Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Moore, Gwendoline Christie and Natalie Dormer. It lands in theaters on Nov. 21.
