It’s been six months since Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony split after seven years of marriage. And for the most part, Lopez has been mum on the details. Well, the singer opened up a little more during an interview on “Today” on Monday (Jan. 30).
“Marc and I were friends before we got married. We were friends for years. We always loved each other,” Lopez tells Matt Lauer.
The singers, who have two children together, are currently producing the reality show “Q’Viva! The Chosen” for Univision. She explains that this hasn’t always been easy for the two.
“It has its difficult moments,” Lopez says. But she adds, “We always worked together. So it wasn’t an unnatural thing for us to continue working together. And obviously we have children together, so it’s not like he’s not going to be in my life.”
As for any future marriage possibilities for Lopez and her boyfriend Casper Smart, the singer nipped any of those discussions in the bud.
“I don’t know. We’ll see. It’s not time to think about that yet,” she says.
