jersey shore snooki 320 'Jersey Shore' Season 4: Italian mayor rules out public drinking for the cast. We're concerned. The “Jersey Shore” crew may still be able to get their GTL on when they hit Florence, Italy for Season 4, but their late night shenanigans are about to be seriously hindered.

]]>According to the New York Post, said rules include: — The cast will not be filmed in bars and clubs that serve alcohol.
— The cast will not be filmed drinking in public.
— The show will not be filmed to promote Florence as a drinking town.
— The show should be filmed in a manner to promote Italy [not Americans visiting Italy] and feature it’s culture and good food. Additionally, the mayor has banned crews from filming in the city’s historic buildings, but acknowledges that he “could not ban them from using the city [Florence] as a set.” Renzi isn’t the only Italian trying to put the kibosh on a “situation” in his country. Reportedly, the MTV reality program has begun airing in the homeland and citizens are less than thrilled with the content. “They embody the worst stereotypes of Italians, multiplied by thousands and Americanized,” writes Rome newspaper columnist Roberto Del Bove. This news just adds to our growing level of concern for the program. First, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola are both signed on and ready to film. But seriously, can we get a new storyline out of these two already? We’re so over them and would really prefer one to drop out at this point. Secondly, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “J-Woww” Farley are both in serious relationships, which can only lead to one of two scenarios: 1.) A serious lack of Juicehead Gorilla hook-ups, or 2.) Cheating on the boyfriends. Snore. Once again, looks like it’s up to MVP (Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio) and Deena “Blast in a Glass” Cortese to provide the entertainment. With a limited supply of booze, we’re not sure how this is all going to play out. Are you excited about Season 4 of the “Shore,” or just as concerned as we are? Sound off below.
