Jesse Heiman is one lucky man. Hollywood’s ultimate extra (seriously, watch the video later in this post and you’ll see what we mean) got the role of a lifetime when he landed the “Walter” role opposite Bar Refaeli and Danica Patrick in Go Daddy’s Super Bowl ad, and got to make out with the Israeli supermodel.
Likely known best for his roles in “Chuck” and “Old School,” Heiman has appeared in everything from “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” to “Heroes” — and never in a starring role. Go Daddy tells AdWeek that the 34-year-old was a customer of Go Daddy well before he was cast as Walter. But, as the company notes, he’s “never been in a Super Bowl commercial before … and never kissed a supermodel before.”
Lucky for Heiman, he and Refaeli had to do 45 takes of the kiss before they got it right. Apparently there are more hot and heavy versions of the commercial floating around because Go Daddy said CBS rejected the first two the company offered for the Super Bowl. After the ad finished filming, Heiman reportedly said he felt like he won “the championship of men.”
Here’s a compilation of Heiman’s many, many roles as an extra:
