One of Jon Stewart‘s favorite pastimes on “The Daily Show” is bringing up legislation from around the country, and mocking it. The latest bill to come under his fire is one proposed in Kansas that would allow parents to spank their children harder without federal repercussions.
Stewart’s criticism was so on-point that the bill died before his Feb. 20 episode ever made it to air. Meanwhile, he also poked fun at House Bill 2453, which would have protected business owners when they decline service to homosexuals for religious reasons.
