It was a momentous occasion as the cast of the movie “Mystic Pizza” reunited on “Good Morning America,” nearly 25 years after the movie premiered. Julia Roberts joined her cast mates, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lili Taylor, Annabeth Gish, William R. Moses and Adam Storke to talk about their experiences making the movie, and share some of their secrets and favorite moments.
One of the revelations from the interview, done as part of EW’s annual reunion issue, is that D’Onofrio was considering pulling out of the movie, until he had a table reading with the three female leads, with each impressing him enough to make him want to stay. “Miss Roberts here — you just knew when she met Julia she was gonna be a huge star,” he says. “There was no doubt in our minds, any of us. She was like a bomb waiting to go off. A big bomb!”
They also play the name game, where it’s learned that Vincent was the most intense actor in the cast, and also the biggest drinker on the set. They all agree that Julia had the most fun, though. “I’m always happy,” she says.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
