The music word is abuzz Monday morning (May 6) with news that pop star Justin Bieber was “attacked” during his concert in Dubai over the weekend. Video of the attack is above and you can see for yourself — an excited fan stormed the stage, probably wanting a hug.

But maybe the headlines should read “Justin Bieber’s security attacks fan, innocent piano,” because those guys have rattlesnake-like reflexes in getting the fan away from the Biebs. As you can see, Bieber is unhurt and skips away, continuing on with his song.

On Twitter, Bieber writes of the incident, “Dubai. Nothing stops the show. 2 more to go.” He’ll now be performing in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa before taking a break from his world tour. The next leg picks up at the end of June in California.

We were actually privy to an attempted Bieber attack several years ago when he was taping a performance for “American Idol.” The security guard at that performance had the unsuspecting tween subdued in no time.

These Bieber security guys — they’re like the secret service.
