Kris Humphries and mom Deborah Humphries appeared on “Good Morning America” Friday morning (Dec. 9) and if you were hoping Kris would dissect his relationship and subsequent divorce with Kim Kardashian or if you were hoping he would perhaps diss Ms. K., you will be sorely disappointed.

The gist of his interview was, “NBA, focus, foundation, family, NBA, basketball, NBA, foundation, faith, focus, moving forward, NBA, foundation, foundation, basketball, family, focus, focus, foundation, basketball.”

But if you’re curious about his actual quotes, Kris says, “It’s going good. I’m excited to be close to playing basketball. In the off-season, been doing a lot of things with my foundation and spending time with family. Working on my fame a lot.”

“It’s been different. Through everything, I’ve just focused on family and preparing for basketball,” says Kris. “Basketball’s always been something I’ve taken really serious. I continue to do that, moving forward.”

“For me, it’s just certain things happen in life and you gotta move forward. I’m excited to be where I’m at right now with the NBA season coming up. I’m ready to go,” he continues.

“I’m focused on basketball and other things will take care of themselves. It’s a great day for the NBA and the fans. For most people, camp starts today. So hopefully I’ll be on a team soon and be ready to go.”

Kris’s mom Deborah gets to speak a little. She says, “I think for us the important thing is to stay close as family, through the ups and downs that come. It’s our faith in God that carries us through all these times. We try to focus on being thankful for things and being positive. We have so much to be thankful for.”

And when asked if he still loves Kim Kardashian, Kris says, “I’m focused on what I can control, which is being ready to play ball.”

Okey dokey.
