Kristen Stewart can now add “director” to her filmography. The former “Twilight Saga” star’s directorial debut — a music video for her friend’s band Sage + the Saints — finally has premiered.

Over the course of her career, Stewart has had plenty of great directors for her to learn from: David Fincher, Bill Condon, Sean Penn and Mary Stuart Masterson, to name a few. In the video for the song “Take Me to the South,” Stewart excels at capturing outdoor shots, particularly when lead singer Sage Galesi and her friends travel to a farm.

Stewart was granted an undisclosed amount of money from the Blank Check Series to co-direct the “Take Me to the South” video for Sage + the Saints with David Ethan Shapiro.

“I wanted the video to feel really captured and found rather than set-up and executed,” Stewart tells Rolling Stone. “Nobody wants their s*** to be pretentious, but like, I didn’t want it to seem like we wanted to be cool at all. Country music’s not cool. It’s truthful and it’s sweet.”
