It’s become fairly evident that Hustler founder Larry Flynt isn’t a big fan of Texas Governor and Republican Presidential contender Rick Perry.
In an ad placed in numerous Texas-based publications, the porn king has put out a $1 million bounty for “documented evidence of an illicit sexual or intimate relations with the governor.”
Flynt tells Reuters, “I’ve been doing this for 35 years. We’ve found running these ads were very successful in finding sources to come forward.”
Flynt has quite the track record with this sort of thing. In 1999, it was another $1 million reward that rooted out an extramarital affair of then Speaker of the House Robert Livingston. Within days of the announcement, Livingston quit.
Perry is considered a frontrunner for the Republican nomination. In a recent USA Today/Gallup poll, Perry leads a crowded field with 31 percent of likely voters preferring him over Mitt Romney, who comes in at 24 percent.
