lori loughlin john stamos one that got away full house gi Lori Loughlin 'the one that got away' says John Stamos

Were Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse from “Full House” almost a legitimate item? It sounds like that would have been the case, if not for unfortunate timing. That revelation came to light during an interview John Stamos gave to HuffPost Live.
The question came after Lori Loughlin commented that  while they have chemistry and were great friends, dating never entered the picture. “I was actually married at the time I was doing the show and then I got divorced,” she says, “and when I got divorced he met Rebecca [Romijn] and he got married.”
In the end, Loughlin says, the timing just never worked out. Stamos agrees in his interview, saying, “We did have some off time but no disrespect to her [or] her family and husband now, I would say that she could be the one that got away.”
John doesn’t elaborate on how serious he is about Lori being “the one that got away,” but it’s enough to send a “Full House” fan’s heart racing. He even says the two went on a Disneyland date as teenagers once upon a time. All they’d have to do to complete the mental image is move into Bob Saget’s attic.

That moment has passed though. While Stamos may still be single, Loughlin married fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli in 1997. The couple have two daughters.
