ryan dharma station 4 leaf clover.jpgWelcome to another edition of our “Lost” podcast! As always, The Chicago Tribune’s Maureen “Mo” Ryan and I discussed the latest episode of the show, and we were lucky enough to have returning as a guest The A.V. Club’s Noel Murray. (Read his recap for this week’s episode here.) For anyone that’s complained that all we do is agree with each other about the show, strap in: this one features a lot of different opinions.

Frankly, I’m glad: Noel liked the episode a lot more than either Mo or myself did, but since Noel’s really smart and presented his arguments in an eloquent way, I look at certain aspects of the episode in a new light. I’m not totally sold on it as a whole, but both Mo and I had fun discussing the episode with him, even if the three of us did not see eye to eye on a lot of things.

In fact, we had so much fun talking that we managed to record nearly two hours worth of audio. After doing our normal “commentary about the episode” section, we decided to do a quick five-minute wrap up…that lasted almost 45 minutes. Whoops. So that will be posted, in its entirety, as a second podcast this Sunday. I think you’ll want to listen. After all, it’s about you. No, honestly. It’s about you. Trust me on this.

As always, there are a few ways to enjoy the podcast. Below the Hulu
embed of “Across the Sea” lies an MP3 player that you can use in-browser.
Just below that, there’s a link to download it directly to your hard
drive. Adjacent to that is a link to the podcast’s feed. The best way,
in my humble opinion? Subscribe to the podcast. It’s easy, it’s free,
it’s easier killing Widmore’s Nerd Squad once the sonic fence is disabled.
While you’re over there, please give us a rating and/or review. We’d
love to get as many people listening as possible. In any case, you can
watch the episode along with the audio, or simply take it on the go and
listen at your leisure. Though I wouldn’t recommend it playing it while running a half marathon. That might not help you cross the finish line in record time. Or, you know, at all.

Happy listening!
