The 2014 iHeart Radio Awards featured an unusual debut — Michael Jackson’s newest single, “Love Never Felt So Good,” from the upcoming “Xscape” album. Announced by producer L.A. Reid and featuring Usher in the debut, you can now watch the video.

“Love Never Felt So Good” was originally written in 1983 (with a recording by Johnny Mathis released in 1984) and is one of eight songs that will make up “Xscape,” Jackson’s posthumous album, which hits stores on May 27.

For the recordings, Reid went through four decades of music in Jackson’s estate in order to find songs that had complete vocal tracks. Several producers — including Timbaland, Stargate, Jroc Harmon, John McClain and Rodney Jenkins — worked to modernize the songs.
