Miley Cyrus is the latest celeb to be caught up in the flurry of invitations to the Marine Corps Ball. The revolutionary trend began earlier in July when Marine Sgt. Scott Moore extended a YouTube invitation to Mila Kunis asking her to accompany him to the annual formal event.
Kunis accepted and soon her “Friends with Benefits” co-star Justin Timberlake found himself asked by the audacious Cpl. Kelsey De Santis, who used just the right amount of friendly taunting to score an affirmative reply.
Next, Betty White was asked (and gracefully declined). Linda Hamilton, the original “Terminator” Sarah Connor, accepted telling her blind date, “rumor has it you like your actresses vintage.”
Now a Marine identifying himself as just PFC Hart has gotten into the game — posting an invite for Miley Cyrus to join him at the Marine Corps Ball held at Camp Pendleton in California.
“I, PFC Hart,” says the Marine in the video, “would like to take a date, a proud American, Miley Cyrus, out to the Marine Corps Ball in beautiful southern California.”
No response yet from Miley.
Who will be next?
