While people love talking about how controversial Miley Cyrus is on stage and off, it’s worth noting she never really has legal problems. That’s something fellow pop star Justin Bieber can’t say, but Cyrus knows exactly how he can change that.
Cyrus was a guest on “The Tonight Show” Thursday (Jan. 30) and had some free legal advice for Bieber. “I would just say, ‘You know what? You got a lot of money. Pay people to make sure you don’t get in trouble and party at your house,'” she says.
As for her own teenage years, Miley thinks she did all right, even if the world doesn’t agree. “I get the most flack of anybody … and I’m not doing anything illegal,” she says. “Everything I do is legal in California.” So far her recipe for staying out of trouble is working. Perhaps she should be Bieber’s life coach.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
