Four Miss USA winners have stripped down for PETA. Former title holders Shanna Moakler (1995), Susie Castillo (2003), Shandi Finnessey (2004) and Alyssa Campanella (2011) got naked for a new PETA advertisement that asks people to “say no to fur.”

“Feel beautiful in your own skin and let animals keep theirs,” the ad reads.

This is just part of the former Miss USA winners’ quest to make the pageant industry adopt a fur-free policy. As Castillo says, it’s up to pageant competitors to “take a stand united and to tell the pageant industry not to support the fur industry.” The 2013 Miss USA pageant takes place on June 16 in Las Vegas.

“As long as I’m the director of Miss Nevada, we will never award fur coats as prizes, and I urge my fellow pageant directors to make the same pledge,” Moakler tells PETA in a statement. “Kind people today are taking a stand against cruelty to animals — so a fur coat is no prize for a compassionate, socially-aware woman.”

At least this ad is sure to capture peoples’ attention. To take a look at how the ad was shot and hear why Moakler, Castillo, Finnessey and Campanella participated, check out a behind-the-scenes featurette below. It does contain nudity and is NFSW.
