Adele Dazeem likes “Muppets Most Wanted”!

Or she would, if Adele Dazeem actually existed. Despite what John Travolta says, however, Dazeem is but a myth. She just so happens to be a myth that endorses the new Muppet film.
A trailer for “Muppets Most Wanted” introduces the idea that it might be OK to pay for fake reviews. Why not? But perhaps the Muppets should have done a little fact-checking before publishing something under Dazeem’s name:

“Let it go? I say, just go!”

Who is this Adele Dazeem that doesn’t exist but is reviewing upcoming movies? She is a mistake created by Travolta at the 2014 Oscars, When the actor was supposed to introduce Idina Menzel singing “Let It Go” from “Frozen,” he instead mangled the name. “Adele Dazeem” is the closest most have come to interpreting what Travolta said instead.

At least that mistake now has a good use — anything to promote “Muppets Most Wanted” has to be good, right?

The film hits theaters on March 21.
