It seems like its been a year since we caught our first glimpse of Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming “My Week With Marilyn.” Well, just shy of the film’s Oct. 9 premiere at the New York Film Festival, there’s finally a trailer.
And, not surprisingly, it’s pretty fantastic.
“Marilyn” isn’t so much a biopic as it is a little window into Monroe’s life during the summer of 1956. She was on her first trip to the U.K., filming “The Prince and the Showgirl” with Sir Laurence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh) when she took up with a 23-year-old assistant named Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne).
The film is an account of the week the actress went off the radar for a week in the countryside with Clark.
“My Week With Marilyn” goes into limited release Nov. 4.
