Disney/Pixar have released a new trailer for the upcoming “Monsters University” that sheds a lot more light on the movie’s plot. It seems best friends Mike and Sully didn’t start out that way. In fact, the two were rivals early in their college careers.
Sully, the big guy that he is, was an immediate favorite among the “scare majors,” and he knew it. “You’re not even in the same league with me,” he tells his roommate Mike. However, Mike is the one with the book smarts that can help them both succeed. The movie looks to contain all of the college cliches you could possibly want, from football games to dorm parties.
“Monsters University” reunites many of the main players from the first film, including John Goodman, Billy Crystal, and Steve Buscemi. Add in Ken Jeong, Charlie Day, and Ricky Gervais, and you’ve got what looks like a really fun movie. “Monsters University” crashes into theaters June 21.
