nxt takeover wwe 'NXT Takeover' to air live on the WWE Network on May 29

After the success of “NXT ArRIVAL” and “Wrestlemania 30” on the WWE Network, the wrestling company has scheduled its next live network event. “NXT Takeover” will feature the stars of WWE’s developmental system and include special appearances from superstars and legends.
“As NXT continues to grow in popularity and our fans demand to see more of the next generation of WWE Superstars, we are going to deliver live, in-ring programs featuring up-and-coming talent on WWE Network,” Paul “Triple H” Levesque says in a statement. “Our live NXT specials on WWE Network bring out the very best in our performers and make for must-see TV for the WWE Universe.”
So far, three matches have been tentatively scheduled for the event, according to a promotional poster.
  • Adrian Neville vs. Tyson Kidd for the NXT Championship
  • Charlotte vs. Natalya for the NXT Women’s Championship
  • Sami Zayn vs. Tyler Breeze
“NXT Takeover” airs live Thursday, May 29, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the WWE Network.
