The CW announced on Tuesday (Feb. 16) the early pick up of five of their most popular series, but “One Tree Hill” was missing from the list.
“OTH” — which has weathered its current season minus two of its original cast members (Chad Michael Murray, Hilarie Burton) — has dipped in the ratings as of late.
Monday’s hour attracted just 1.9 million viewers, but creatively, the show seems to be chugging along just fine, having introduced three new series regulars (Austin Nichols, Rob Buckley, Shantel Van Santen) who came with brand new story lines of their own.
The question is, does “One Tree Hill” have enough life left in it to keep on keepin’ on?
