At the Jackson family compound, Paris tells Winfrey, “I kind of felt like no one understood what a good father he was. He was the best cook ever,” Paris told Winfrey. “He was just a normal dad. He made the best French toast in the world. He just made the best breakfasts in the world.”

]]>Katherine Jackson, remembers, “You know what broke my heart more than anything else in this world? When people at the hospital told us, ‘You can leave now,’ and Paris and Prince said, ‘Where are we going?'” Before his death, Jackson went to extreme efforts to keep his children out of the public eye — he home-schooled them and had them wear elaborate masks when they were out. In fact, his widely broadcast funeral was the first many people saw of his childrens’ faces. So, now that Jackson has passed away, is it wrong for the media to shine a spotlight on his children?
