“Orange Is the New Black” Emmy nominee Laverne Cox will guest star on a Season 2 episode of “Faking It” as Margot, a Hester High alum who is directing the school’s elite drama club. – “Freaks and Geeks” vet Samm Levine will recur on ABC’s “Selfie” as a low-level office employee who’s actually the son-in-law of the company president. [Deadline]

– “Once Upon a Time” vet Julian Morris will recur on “New Girl” as a
cocky, handsome teacher who takes over Jess’s teaching position when
she’s promoted to vice principal. She’s his boss, so they have to fight

– There’s a new face coming to Rosewood when Miranda Mayo joins “Pretty
Little Liars”
Season 5b. Mayo has been cast as Talia, a new chef at the

“Heroes” alum Greg Grunberg is heading to rehab for an episode of “CSI.” He will play Len Bryant in an episode of the series, a man battling his addictions to win custody of his children. His episode will air in November. [Entertainment Weekly]

“General Hospital’s” Jason Morgan is coming back from the dead and this time he has a new face. “The Young and The Restless” star Billy Miller will be filling the role, previously played by Emmy winner Steve Burton. [TVLine]

– HBO has commissioned a new four-episode comedy series from “Flight of Conchords” masterminds Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie. The series was supposed to happen this year but the duo focused on their new film “What We Do in the Shadows” instead, but hopefully a return of the New Zealand duo will be in the near future. – The official trailer for Against!Me front woman Laura Jane Grace’s AOL Originals web series “True Trans with Laura Jane Grace” is now online. The 10-part documentary series will premiere its first four episodes on Oct. 10 in honor of National Coming Out Day. [Time]

– Controversial director Lars von Trier is working on an English-language TV series called “The House That Jack Built,” he announced. There’s no word on plot details or casting, but is scheduled to shoot in 2016. [Deadline]

-Three actors are headed to “The Goldbergs” Season 2. “GoodFellas” Paul Sorvino is set to portray Murray’s (Jeff Garlin) cranky, emotionally unavailable father, Pop-Pop. While “Children’s Hospital” star Rob Huebel will play smooth-talking talent scout, John Calabasas and Dan Bakkedahl will play the easily excitable and argumentative middle-school science teacher, Mr. Woodburn.
