Food Network isn’t the only company dropping Paula Deen after her admission of racism in a recent deposition. It turns out that the TV chef had her partnership and line of hams cut from pork product company Smithfield as well.
“Smithfield condemns the use of offensive and discriminatory language and behavior of any kind,” Smithfield says in a statement to TMZ. “We are terminating our partnership with Paula Deen. … Smithfield is determined to be an ethical food industry leader and it is important that our values and those of our spokespeople are properly aligned.”

Deen’s fate in her other institutions is yet to be determined. FOX has “no comment at this time” as to whether Deen’s appearance will remain in “MasterChef” this season. QVC meanwhile says Deen won’t be appearing on its programming any time soon.
After having her name dragged through the dirt, Deen will finally be able to tell her side of the story on a rescheduled “Today” appearance. She cancelled an appearance on June 21 after news of her Food Network firing was released, and will instead be appearing on the morning news show on June 26.
