peter robbins pleads guilty charlie brown 'Peanuts' voice actor Peter Robbins sentenced to counseling and rehab

Peter Robbins, the man who voiced Charlie Brown in the “Peanuts” cartoon, has received his sentencing after pleading guilty to stalking. He has been court ordered to receive mental health treatment and substance abuse treatment after stalking his ex-girlfriend and threatening her plastic surgeon. He also was given five years of probation and ordered to pay the doctor restitutions.

This is a light sentence for Robbins, who could have been given three years in prison. The Los Angeles Times reports that the judge on the case also gave Robbins some sound advice: “Don’t be a blockhead.”

Robbins was arrested in January following threats made to both his ex-girlfriend Shawna Kern and her doctor Lori Saltz. Robbins was reportedly unhappy with the breast augmentation Saltz performed on Kern, which he paid for. He demanded the money be returned to him, and when it wasn’t, he became physical and continued to harass both Kern and Saltz. Kern, unsurprisingly, ended their relationship.
