Lifetime has cast another replacement for their followup to “Flowers in the Attic.” Though the book version of “Petals on the Wind” picks up right after the events in the first, the televised version will jump forward ten years.
“Pretty Little Liars” actor Wyatt Nash will replace Mason Dye in the role of Christopher Dollanganger in the sequel, according to E! Online. He joins the already-announced Rose McIver, who takes over for Kiernan Shipka as the sister who falls in love with Christopher.
Ellen Burstyn, Heather Graham and Dylan Bruce will reprise their roles from the original, while newcomer Will Kemp will play an abusive lover of Cathy’s named Julian. There’s no announced air date for “Petals on the Wind,” but filming begins Feb. 25.
