It looks like “The Time Taveler’s Wife” wasn’t enough for Rachel McAdams. She’s got a new movie that finds her being romanced by yet another time traveler. This one seems a bit more lighthearted, though.
In “About Time,” Domhnall Gleeson plays a man who finds out that men in his family can travel through time. He uses his power to win over a girl, McAdams’ character, but accidentally erases his own timeline. From that point forward he has to try to win her over once again.
“About Time” is written and directed by Richard Curtis (“Love Actually,” “Notting Hill” and “War Horse”) and also features Bill Nighy, Tom Hollander and Vanessa Kirby. It’s currently scheduled for theaters on November 1.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
