Law enforcement officials say Travis was arrested around midnight, having sustained minor cuts and bruises in the one-car accident. In addition to the DWI suspicion, he was charged with “retaliation and obstruction,” which is a felony. That charge stems from Travis’ allegedly verbally threatening a cop during the arrest.
This is not the first run-in with the law for Travis this year. Back in February, the singer was arrested for public intoxication when he was found sitting in his car in front of the First Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas and allegedly drinking from an open bottle of wine.
