kim kardashian getty Reality TV millionaires: Kim Kardashian earns estimated $6 million

In exchange for just a little loss of privacy and dignity, you too could be raking in millions. Okay, maybe not, but we’re seriously jealous of these reality TV moguls’ paychecks.
The Daily Beast has compiled a list of the Top 10 highest paid reality stars, and their estimated 2010 earnings. Who made the most this year? Kim Kardashian
We have yet to think of a product Kimmy K won’t throw her name on for a couple bucks. Probably the most respectable aspect of the Kardashian empire is the chain of retail stores co-owned by Kim and her sisters, followed by a skin care line. Then there’s the book, “Kardashian Konfidential,” and promotions for everything from weight-loss supplements and sneakers, to sandwiches and maxi-pads.
Laugh all you’d like. The Armenian beauty who rose to fame on the heels of a leaked sex tape and a friendship with Paris Hilton, made an estimated $6 million this past year. We don’t know about you, but this sort of makes us feel like we took a wrong turn in our career path.

Kim is followed up by Lauren Conrad ($5 mil), Bethenny Frankel ($4 mil), Audrina Patridge ($3.5 mil), Kate Gosselin ($3.5 mil), Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino ($3 mil), little sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian ($2.5 mil each), DJ Pauly D ($2 mil) and Kendra Wilkinson ($2 mil).
Obviously this list does not include the likes of already established celebrities who later appeared in the reality television world. Most of these millionaires were plucked from obscurity, and have developed themselves into household names. One of which (cough, Audrina, cough) literally causes us physical pain to type into this story. As if we needed any more proof of the cruelty and injustice in this world.

We’re not saying that these stars don’t work hard for their pay day — Kim reminds us every week on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” just how hard she has to work. We are just bitter that we haven’t been cast in the next Ryan Seacrest production yet.
