are playing instruments that aren’t actually plugged into anything. They don’t even have wireless transmitters to give the illusion that they’re actually playing.
The band has yet to address the controversy, but Flea
offered a tweet that doesn’t really explain anything. “No trickery. No choice, but no trickery,” he writes. Lead singer Anthony Kiedis
did do his vocals live, making it the most-watched karaoke performance in TV history
