New York Jets’ coach Rex Ryan hasn’t been having a great year. First, he’s dealing with the fallout of a terrible season, including losing members of his coaching staff. He’s also at the center of the Jets’ Tim Tebow drama. Not to mention that very strange tattoo he got. However, now Ryan might have legal problems on top of everything else.
Deadspin reports that Ryan was involved in a three-car accident in Bethlehem, Pa. It doesn’t end there, as it turns out Ryan is at fault in the accident as well. A police source says Ryan ran a red light, while driving his red Mustang, and collided with another car, which then crashed into a third vehicle.
While Ryan admits to running a red light, he denies that he was speeding at the time of the accident. There were no injuries in the collision, but all three cars sustained moderate damage. Ryan was not cited for the accident, but was given a warning.
