rob ford reality show ford nation canceled sun gi Rob Ford: Reality show 'Ford Nation' canceled after one episode

Nothing is going right for Rob Ford these days. Canadian network Sun News has canceled the Toronto mayor’s reality show, “Ford Nation,” after only one episode.

This comes in addition to the revelations about smoking crack and in addition to inappropriate language on live TV and in addition to using being drunk as an excuse for everything. It also means that Ford and his brother, Doug, will no longer have a regular media outlet for the first time in years.

According to the Globe and Mail, only about 155,000 people tuned in to the debut episode of “Ford Nation” on Monday (Nov. 18). Sun News, a conservative-leaning cable network, is available in only about 40 percent of Canadian homes, but the number of viewers still didn’t satisfy the network. The cancellation comes less than a week after the show was first announced.

The lone episode of “Ford Nation” consisted of Rob and Doug Ford talking to media personalities, mostly about the Toronto mayor’s continuing controversies. Not much new information came out of any of this — both brothers did, however, spend time talking about being mobbed by their supporters at Wal-Mart and in a family restaurant.

At this point, it’s hard to say what the worst part of everything is for Rob Ford.
