1. Mara’s older sister Kate Mara (above, right) is none other than one of the cheerleader threesome members on “Nip/Tuck” and Annie Cantrell in “We Are Marshall.” Rooney got her acting start in a bit part in her sister’s 2005 video release “Urban Legends: Bloody Mary.”

]]>Wellington Mara, one of the longest-tenured and most highly respected owners in NFL history. Mara was co-owner of the New York Giants from 1930 until his death in 2005. He was also president of the National Football Conference for 21 years. 3. Mara founded the non-profit organization Faces of Kibera, an organization founded to combat the rising number of orphans in Kibera, Kenya, one of the largest slums in the world. 4. The first big role Mara nabbed was in the remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” where she played main character Nancy Holbrook. Mara is contracted for a sequel, according to Bloody Disgusting news. 5. While “Dragon Tattoo” should be Mara’s coming out party, she can also be seen in the October release “The Social Network,” which is the movie chronicling the origins of Facebook.
