rosemarys-baby-finale-NBC.jpgThe two-part “Rosemary’s Baby” miniseries event aired its second half Thursday (May 15) on NBC, bringing with it the creepy conclusion wherein Rosemary gives birth to her spawn of Satan. After being told the baby is dead, Rosemary eventually discovers the cultists have him and she is more or less sucked into their cult in order to raise her baby.

This version was different in several ways from the 1968 horror classic, perhaps most notably in that the Satanic cult was mostly made up of attractive 40-somethings rather than geriatrics, which definitely added to the glitz and glamour of the remake, but also kind of took away from one of the scariest aspects of the original movie.

Still, Zoe Saldana did her best to live up to Mia Farrow’s fragile Rosemary from 40 years ago and we think she pulled it off.
