sarah jessica parker instyle sex and the city 3 movie 'Sex and the City 3' movie? Sarah Jessica Parker says there's one last story to tellSarah Jessica Parker is gracing the cover of InStyle for its February issue and possibly sending “Sex and the City” fans into a frenzy by hinting at a third film installment.

Echoing her previous sentiments, SJP says, “A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell. But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn’t a decision that can wait forever. I don’t want to have to wear muumuus!”

The first two “SATC” movies combined to gross nearly $250 million at the box office, so the fans would most likely turn out to see the final chapter. But the question is whether the movie could get all four leads to return.

Cynthia Nixon is the most reticent, telling THR in 2012, “I think we had a wonderful ride. I think it’s fine to let it go.”

Kim Cattrall seems to feel it could go either way. She told MTV back in 2010, “I don’t know if there will be a third. I hope there will be. I think there’s more stories to be told,” but later Cattrall told MovieWeb, “I feel like I’ve let go. … If it happens, that would be great. But if not? It was an amazing experience.”

The most excited cast member is probably Kristin Davis, who tells Haute Living, “I don’t think [a third film] is a pipe dream, there
is discussion. People talk about it amongst the people who are the
players, but I don’t know if it will come together. It would be very
exciting if it did.”

Davis also quips, “I’m going to have a little talk with Cynthia the next time I see her!” referring to her reluctant co-star.

We imagine the final chapter in Carrie Bradshaw’s life that SJP is referring to is Carrie and Big (Chris Noth) having a baby. Is that something you’d want to see in a third film, fans? Or is it time to let the franchise go?
