Two new faces are joining the cast of FOX’s “Sleepy Hollow” for Season 2: “House of Cards” star Sakina Jaffrey and former “One Tree Hill” resident Matt Barr.
Jaffrey, who played the White House Chief of Staff on Netflix’s “HoC,” will move to Sleepy Hollow as the town’s newest sheriff, reports E! Online. She’s a tough cop with a warm side who cut her teeth working for the U.S. Border Patrol in Texas and fills Capt. Irving’s shoes after his incarceration.
Meanwhile, Barr, who starred in The CW’s “Hellcats,” will play a “ruggedly handsome bounty hunter” who helps out Ichabod and Abbie while working a supernatural case, reports TVLine.
Both actors will recur throughout Season 2 of the FOX hit, which has already begun filming in North Carolina.
