the fault in our stars so you think you can dance 'So You Think You Can Dance' Season 11 Top 20 are all into 'The Fault In Our Stars'The Top 20 dancers on “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 11 have all been pretty busy making it to the live shows of FOX’s summer dance competition, but most of them have found time to catch up on the summer’s hottest movie and the book on which it’s based: “The Fault In Our Stars.”

When Zap2it met up with the group at this season’s Top 20 photo shoot, we polled them on their summer reading lists and the movies they’d recently seen. Many of the group had just finished the book, and if they didn’t read the book, they’d seen the film, starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort as two teens who meet at a cancer patient support group and fall in love.

Those who read the book and saw the movie include Brooklyn Fullmer, Casey Askew –“So sad. I cried the whole movie,” he admits — and Emily James. “It’s not funny how much I cried. A lot of my friends didn’t want to see it because they thought it was going to be sad, but in a way it’s uplifting,” she says.

Serge Onik read the book, and Ricky Ubeda not only loved the “TFIOS” book (and movie), but has read many of author John Green’s other books too. “I love ‘Looking for Alaska,'” he says.

Both Jacque Lewarne and Stanley Glover saw the movie but didn’t read the book yet. “I wanted to read the book before I saw the movie but I didn’t have time,” says Lewarne, but Glover hasn’t read the book because of one simple reason: He was crying too hard.

“My friends told me to read ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ but I was bawling through the movie so not yet,” he shares.
