Well, after “Sweet and Vaded,” “Sons of Anarchy” is definitely on a dangerous trajectory. Tara (Maggie Siff) faked a pregnancy and miscarriage just to make sure Gemma (Katey Sagal) couldn’t get anywhere near her kids. That’s crazier than anything Gemma has done, but Tara is convinced it’s the only way to keep her children safe.
Next, in “Los Fantasmas,” it all comes to a head when Jax (Charlie Hunnam) comes face-to-face with Gemma for the first time since Tara faked the attack, and severs ties with his mom, promising, “You will never see those kids again.” It seems like Gemma knows exactly what’s going on, as she tells Sheriff Roosevelt (Rockmond Dunbar) that she doesn’t think Tara was ever expecting.
It also looks like Nero (Jimmy Smits) is ratting on the club about their connection to the school shooting, but is he really? He’s definitely turning on someone, but the club doesn’t isn’t the most likely candidate, considering he’s in business with them. In the promo, Nero simply says “I’m ready to give up the source of the guns.” This could be an easy way to get the focus off of SAMCRO in the short term.
All that’s missing is a tease for whatever comes next for Venus (Walton Goggins). Hopefully she’s not out of the picture too long, Tig would be really upset.

“Sons of Anarchy” airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
