As weeks go by, the final season of “Sons of Anarchy” keeps getting closer. Still, September is far away so why not some tasty morsels to hold you over?
That’s where creator Kurt Sutter comes in with his video blog, “wtfSutter.” He likes to keep fans in the loop with the latest news and his latest installment is no different.
Sutter has finished and turned in his draft of the Season 7 premiere and is hard at work on writing the next episode, with shooting set to commence at the end of May. He’s also looking for studio locations in London to serve as home base for “The Bastard Executioner,” his next pilot for FX that will hopefully go to series.
The good stuff comes toward the end of the vlog though, where Sutter gives away information about familiar faces on the “Sons” world coming back for Season 7. Marcus Alvarez (Emilio Rivera) and the Mayans will return, as will Billy Brown as August Marks.
It sounds like Robert Patrick will also make his way back to Charming, as SAMDINO President Les Packer. According to Sutter, “We’re going to try to spin a little story around him and bring him back for a few.” That’s good news for fans who were excited to see the real-life biker make a cameo appearance last season.
“Sons of Anarchy” Season 7 will premiere in September on FX.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
