With NBC’s live, one-night-only production of “The Sound of Music” less than a month away, rehearsals are kicking into high-gear. A new teaser for the special presentation goes behind-the-scenes with Carrie Underwood and her co-stars as they prepare for the show.
“Nobody does stuff like this,” Underwood says. “It feels so good. We’re doing it live in front of the entire universe.” The video includes pieces of a few songs, Carrie dancing with the von Trapp children and a glimpse at what the actual set for the special will look like.
“The Sound of Music” airs live on NBC, December 5 at 8 p.m. ET.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
