Katherine Heigl (“Grey’s Anatomy”) is back on network TV and the stakes are pretty high. In “State of Affairs,” she plays CIA analyst Charleston Tucker, who is responsible for briefing the president daily on terror threats and was once engaged to her son.
After the son was killed in a terrorist attack, Tucker has tasked herself with finding every single person responsible. Things might not be quite what they seem, though.
“State of Affairs” will air Mondays at 10 p;.m. ET/PT on NBC.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
