Gross will play the recurring role of Walter Gillis, described as the down-to-earth founder of a DVD distribution company. While trying to keep his business afloat and solvent, Gillis also needs to fend off repeated takeover bids.
“Suits” star Patrick J. Adams let the cat out of the bag on the casting Tuesday (April 8), when he posted a photo with Gross to Instagram:
“Well call me Alex P. Keaton. #michaelgross #familyties #shalalala”
Best-known for playing patriarch Steven Keaton in the 1980s sitcom, “Family Ties,” Gross has also appeared on TV shows like “How I Met Your Mother,” “Psych,” “CSI” and more. In film, many might recognize the actor from the cult movie, “Tremors.”
Season 4 of “Suits” is expected to air during the summer of 2014. Two other actors, DB Woodside and Brendan Hines, are also expected to recur during the season. The “Suits” Season 3 finale airs Thursday, April 10 at 9 p.m. on USA.
