Actress and singer Taryn Manning was arrested Thursday (Oct. 11) in New York City for assaulting her makeup artist, Holliann Hartman. Manning, known for her roles in “8 Mile” and “Sons of Anarchy,” allegedly punched, scratched and choked Hartman and slammed her head against the floor and wall, according to documents released at her Friday arraignment (per the New York Daily News).
Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Alexander Tish released the 33-year-old actress without bail but ordered her to stay away from Hartman, 23, until the next hearing on Nov. 13. That may be difficult, though, since according to TMZ, the two women apparently live together.
“They had a late-night argument that turned into a bit of a physical altercation,” Manning’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, says.
He also tells TMZ that he spoke with Hartman, and she doesn’t want to press charges. Tacopina says Hartman told him she and Manning love each other very much.
