On Sunday (Nov. 23), Taylor Swift opened up the 2014 American Music Awards with a performance of “Blank Space” and, most importantly, a serious amount of crazy eyes.

The pop star — who recently released her much-anticipated fifth album, “1989” — took to the stage to perform her new song. Though the performance was everything Swift fans would expect from the singer, it was basically exactly the same as the music video … you know, plus more eye action.

The song opened up with her at an extremely long table …

Pretty much the only difference between the music video and her AMA performance is that the former had 20 costume changes and the latter only had two outfit changes. Although, kudos to Swift for playing with fire. That was way cool.
