While New York City is usually known as home base for the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” franchise, the four ninja brothers are making their mark in Austin, Texas, in a very interesting way.
Street artist Mike Johnson has created several pieces, including a mural, in conjunction with Austin’s H.O.P.E. Outdoor Gallery, inspired by the new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie. Among the pieces are a series of graffiti-style poster featuring the turtles and Shredder.
You can see the posters below or check out the H.O.P.E. Outdoor Gallery Facebook page to see the work Johnston is putting into the mural. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is in theaters Aug. 8.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
