A new trailer for the movie version of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” filled with lots of new footage, has arrived. The clip, which runs over a minute-and-a-half, uses William Fichtner’s dialogue from the first trailer, but but adds in a lot more turtle action.
Each of the four brothers gets a closeup, so you can see what they’ll look like in the big screen adventure. Donatello stands out the most, covered in gadgets and wearing glasses being held together by tape.
Additionally, the trailer sets the scene for a New York City at war with itself. With Fichtner’s Shredder pulling the strings, it’s up to the turtles to save the place they call home. Of course, they’ll also have to get in some skateboarding. They are the Ninja Turtles, after all.
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is in theaters Aug. 8.
